Hi guys

I 'm doing the tutorial in ...Think.maxwellrender.com where learns animation Rhino-Maxwell with a simple scene...
with Rhinoceros (64)beta+ Maxwell2.0Trial

doubts:

1- I'll be able, after, to get a good 360 degree animation( 800x600, 12 SL,...100 frames...) with a very heavy scene of jewellry (40mb) or the file must be lighter?
2-I image (the renderings of 40 frames are not finish at the moment) the video I obtein will have the Maxwell logo in center?
I think ...if I put this Video in my web home page ...there are'nt a legal problem? Is good pubblicity for me and for Next Limit!
2-To work Rhinoceros 4.0 + My Maxwell 1.7 is advisable?

thankyou
rober

Animation in newer plugins works differently than shown in that old tutorial - it works just the same as with any other renderer now. For example, to do a turntable animation:
  • a) at the command-line, type SetTurntableAnimation
    b) set Capture Method to RenderFull
    c) set the other animation options and click OK
    d) at the command-line, type RecordAnimation
    e) choose SetTargetFolder and choose the output folder
    f) the animation frames will be exported
    g) the plugin will ask you if you want to render them
If you are using the 2.0.5 plugin, you will be rendering in Maxwell 2.0, so you will have watermarks on the images - I do not know if that is a problem, but I doubt it. It should work the same if you are using plugin 1.8.3 with Rhino 4, except that it will render in Maxwell 1.7, with no watermark, of course.

The weight of the scene should not be a problem - when using a camera-only animation, the plugin only exports the geometry once, and then just writes new cameras for each additional frame in the animation.

I have used Ulead GIF Animator before to make animated GIFs, SWFs, MPEGs, etc.
