Do I have to unistall version 1.7

I installed the plug in v2 maxwell for rhino, but It keeps rendering version 1.7. in rhino 4.0
Also I have installed version 5.0 rhino, and downloaded the 64bit plug in, where is the directory that maxwell should be installed, by default is the /86x

The 2.0 plugin should automatically uninstall the 1.0 plugin, but if you run into any problems then you should manually uninstall all plugin versions and start fresh. As far as the plugin using the Program Files x86 directory by default, that is intentional - you can install both (x86 and x64) plugins on one machine, and by default, they both install into that directory.

Does the plug-in for version 2 can be use when render with 1.7?

Sorry, but no, because maxwell 1.x can't read maxwell 2.x files.
