Concurrent version of the Rhino plugin installed

Hi,

I'm eager to try out Maxwell 2.0, but I also teach at the university where they are unlikely to upgrade. Therefore, I need to retain my maxwell 1.7 installation together with the plugin. Will I be able to intall the new version and run it parallel with the old version of the plugin?

Regards,

- Björn

Sorry, but you can't do that. I have to install/uninstall different versions all the time though, and it's not really a big deal. Just have the two installers handy, and double-click on the .msi file for whichever one is currently installed - it will ask to remove or repair, choose remove, then run the other installer. That takes probably ten or twenty seconds on my machine.

Ok, cool. Then it probably won't be a problem. Will I have to do the uninstall? I didn't when I installed 2.0 but it works fine.

Also, you know where I still can download the old version of the plugin?

Sorry, but I don't know if/where older versions are available. There's been a huge restructuring of the whole maxwell web, so you may want to ask techdesk about that.
