Assigning Maxwell Referenced Material not working

Hi,
since some hours i can't assign a referenced maxwell material in SI any more, receiving this error :
How can i fix it ?

I've had the same issue some time ago, in my case restarting XSI resolved the problem.

hm ya, have restarted it several times now, with making simplified project etc. but not getting through yet.

Maxwell stopped working normal in SI ... is it a certain file that needs fix ?
when i load a preset i get this error message:

Can you go to File->Plugin Manager, open the SPDLs folder in the Maxwell addon, right click on every spdl file and press regenerate Preset ?

i've tried it but still not catching. I also uninstalled and re-installed the maxwell plugin 3.0.8, but also not coming.

Do you by any chance have a template scene for the project, or does this happen even with an empty scene ?
If it happens on an empty scene can you tell me what version of XSI, OS and Maxwell you have ?

it in fact happens on every empty scene, have restart computer etc. The SI version is 2014, Win 7, Maxwell 3, Maxwell Plugin 3.0.8
