Hi,
is it possible to render a panoramic image like this ?
And other shapes like a spherical image or a custom shape, like a capsule (cylinder with half spheres on top and bottom etc. ?

When I used the panorama lens shader in SI it does not apply it to the Maxwell rendering.

Short answer, nope not possible at the moment.

You can shoot wide and then stitch in ptgui etc.. pain in the ass though...

ya exactly, at least it's a work around. Wonder, if in the panorama test movie i'm going to prepare now, it will visibly expose at the intersection that something is not 100% the way light would have traveled.
