How to Put a Cylyndric Texture in SI to Work with Maxw. ?

Hi,
can I use a cylindric texture mapping in SI to be rendered with Maxwell ? If yes, where can I find out how ? Have not spotted such a topic in a manual yet ...

Do I possibly have to "bake in" an auto UV or such in SI to handle the tex right in Maxw. ?

You just have to add cylindrical UVs to your object, Maxwell just gets the current UVs from the object.
