MXS References vs. Instances

Hi all!

I got question about MXS Refererences.
Any diferences in render speed compared to Ice scatters?

Instances do have a small renderhit but can be more practical in some cases. References are great especially for animations so each exported mxs is really tiny because they reference an external file instead of it being embedded in each frame. Hopefully soon a referenced mxs file can also be instanced inside SI.
