'remove unused materials' also deletes backface materials, hope this is easy to fix.
Also small reminder, global material settings of previously linked mxm's being erased by mxed.. mentioned before..
These problems are in the beta plug and previous mw3 plugs.

Cinema doesn't consider the materials to be in use; all you can do is e.g. put a hidden null in the scene, where you drop a copy of every material you don't want Cinema to delete. Regarding global material parameters, I can see some issues happening here, testing just with Studio.

Thanks for the workaround.
Another problem, which has only occurred once so far, is that sometimes the texture preview setting sets itself to none, and the object also renders with no texture! not just the opengl.

I see no way for this to occur, except for the texture to be missing/inaccessible, at least temporarily, but I'll keep an eye on it.
