I'm testing new maxwell 3 in C4d. The new fire improved voxelization seams to be very usefull, but it does not work in C4D. Am I doing something wrong, or it is not implemented in C4D plugin?

You're not missing anything, interactive movement of objects is not currently supported in this plugin.

Is there any chance that it will work in close future, or it won't be possible for C4D?

I have done some perhaps-promising experiments, but can't guarantee anything yet.

Hi Jeremy,

Any news about supporting install voxelization in C4D? is there any limitation within C4D's SDK or you just need more time to implement it?. This is my favourite V3's feature, it improves the workflow a lot.

Thanks,
josé

It is difficult not due to limitations, but because there are some key internal differences in the designs of Cinema and Maxwell. And even when the plugin gets more interactivity, I cannot guarantee it will be able to be done in such a way as to take advantage of the V3 voxelization improvements.
