MXS reference - hide from camera?

Hi,
Is it possible to import an MXS reference and hide it from camera? Tried with the Maxwell Object Properties tag, but it still renders. I just need the MXS reference to show up in some material´s refraction and reflection.

Way around is to import the object being referenced, but this is not so neat since the MXS references is already placed in scene.

Any thoughts on this?

Regards,
Tor Martin

Open the file that the MXS reference is referencing, add your object prop. tags there?

I´ll test it, I guess that would work. Still not a neat solution though since several scenes are using MXI references. So, in some scenes they should be visible all the time, and in some scenes they should only be visible in reflection/refraction. If I go messing around with the "original" file, I would need to make sure my brain will remember which scenes the tag should be on and off on.

Thanks!

The plugin already does write Object Properties flags to MXS References, but I do not think they are working correctly in the SDK or engine.

Thanks for your answer. I ended up with importing the referenced object into the scene and used a tag.
