How to render instanced lights correctly?

Hi,
I know ho to create instanced objects in c4d to be rendered correctly by maxwell.
But did not manage to achieve a correct render of instanced C4D lights. Do I have to create emitter objects in place of C4D lights if I want to instantiate them?
Can someone save my life by roughly explaining how I can get, for example, IES lights created in C4D to actually be rendered in Maxwell? The way I do it, only the reference object is taken into account by Maxwell, other instances do not exist in final rendering.

Thank you!!

Hi and welcome :)

I donĀ“t know about IES native cinema, but if you create a small sphere ~2cm radius and apply a MXM of a IES ligth it works when instances are used.

Hope this help a little

Cheers

Instances of Cinema lights are not currently supported -- I'll see about adding support for them in a future version.
