when I have some object e.g. box mapped and want to get that into a UV (for instance during "interactive mapping" workflow) the results is a mess if the texture tag contains an mxm. If I temporarily put some c4d material onto the tag and do the UV creation it all works fine. Then I can put the mxm onto the tag again...
This workaround works fine but is a bit tedious...
