1. would it be possible to have an option to import more than one material at one time via the MXM Gallery?
2. How can I set the path for the downloaded materials from the gallery? I only find this in the Studio settings but not for Cinema and it seems that Cinema ignores the path set in Studio.

1) Sorry, but no, this is a limitation of how the system currently works. You can work around it though.
2) Currently, no, not when using the Browse MXM Gallery function. However (and this is also the workaround mentioned above), you can use the Open MXM Browser function instead, download an MXM in the Web tab, and then drag it from the Local tab into the scene as usually done when using the Open MXM Browser function.
