Hi JD,
This is an fantastic update, thanks.
There are a couple of little issues that I have noticed so far (nothing critical).
1) Clicking Material trough Plugin-Cinemaxwell-Material, it's create a material without preview, but if you create the new material trough Material Manager the new material start rendering the preview.
2) Clicking trough Plugin-Cinemaxwell-Material Editor, it just pop up a blank material window.
Now moving more to a wish, in this case related with instances more specific to viewport related.
More I work with MWR instances more dificult and not stable representations I find in the viewport, for example and this is easy to recreate.
Load in a new document the Zygote child from C4D presets and make a instance of this one, you will notice this:

Select display as object and drag the Zygote and you will see something like this:

Load in a new document the Figure from C4D primitives and make a instance of this one, you will notice this:

Select display as object and drag the Figure and you will see something like this:

I know that maybe this is going to bring so much pain in the rear, but sometimes we (I) need more precise instance display in order to create the scenes.
I found how the vrayforc4d team solve the proxies (in their case) display and I found it marvelous, here is a video link that you can check, the important part is from 03:00 to 05:00 aprox. http://vimeo.com/9425012
Would be nice to have a revamp in this area
.
Cheers
JC
