I wanted to have a look at my scene with the emitters but all the other materials just grey to see how the lighting works together.

Therefore I used the override and loaded the diffuse97 that was provided with v2. But my emitters are overwritten as well.

What am I doing wrong? Using cinema+plugin here.

Thanks, it's a bug - the plugin is not exporting any materials when the override is active, so your emitters are not making it through. As a temporary workaround in some cases, it may be useful to notice that emitter materials for automatically-generated lights are still being exported.
