JD-

Good to see the progress with Fire integration and MW 2.5...have a couple of questions though with C4D 10.5.

Decided to purchase theatrical lighting for a project and they are C4D format...when I was experimenting with them in a scene,
along with Maxwell emitters using IES data (which is probably a no-no to mix) the result was that the C4D emitter slider when
rendered controlled the MW emitters.

When using MW emitters and IES data in a C4d scene, the emitters always seem to need cranking up, so the slider defaults at 100 then I manually increase the strength to 10000+? Is this normal behaviour using IES data?

Thanks,

I would tend to peg this on exporting to an unrealistic scale. No code exists in the plugin by which the intensity value of a Cinema light would affect the output levels of a Maxwell material explicitly attached to that light. If a Maxwell material is found on the light, it will be used, otherwise an emitter material will be automatically generated from the Cinema light's parameters. Furthermore, while this may not have been the case in Maxwell 2.0 (I don't remember), the power values in the Maxwell emitter are disregarded when using an IES file -- in MXED, they are simply disabled and greyed out.

Just let me know if you think I'm misunderstanding the scenario.
