My Lightwave 10, will not export to Maxwell 2.7. an error message says MSVCP90.dll is missing, try to re-install. I tried 2 times, same error message. I have XP32bit OS. Studio works fine independently, the new plug in seemed to load ok, I deleted the older Max version and old plugin, it's been 3 hours of trying stuff, still no workie

Try installing this, please: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... px?id=5582. The plug-in installer should install it automatically if needed, but maybe it fails for some reason and running it manually might solve the problem (or give us an error message, so we know what's going on).

Ah, wait, you're saying Maxwell itself fails to start, not the plug-in? In that case there might be something different, but it's still worth trying to install that package from Microsoft. You can try this one too: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... px?id=5555. They work side by side, no need to worry about installing both.

The 32-bit Maxwell build was broken, see here. Please download Maxwell again from the customer gateway and reinstall.

Thanks to Juan, and Mihnea, the problem was resolved. 2.7 is alive and well, working with my Lightwave. I appreciate your help. - MC
