well I was stupid enough to try out maya 2017. it sucks. after 2014, which is fast, quite reliable, and remembers my settings, 2017 forgets hotkeys, makes you press the UNDO twice or more to reverse just one action, and viewport is bad (at least for maxwell). so is there a way to go back to good old 2014? I mean, for the few scenes I've tested in 2017? I tried importing those back to 2014 with the "ignore version" ticked, but it didn't work. also saving MA is not going to help since maya will say there are "unknown nodes" in the files and it cannot save the scene as MA. any help appreciated. I think I want to keep 2014 for now but those scenes I did on 2017 are too important for me to re-do. thanks !

Hi,

I totally agree. Maya 2017 is impossible to use. A disaster !
And I'm more stupid because I bought it for one year...
So, I continue to work with 2014.

The only way I found is to export in obj.
But of course, no camera, no shaders, and so on.

Thanks a lot Autodesk.
