I see you have already checked the plugin manager.

Check the console to see if there are any errors. If this doesn't help maybe you'll need to contact the support.

Do you get any errors in the script editor window after Maya starts, but before you use any of the Maxwell shelf buttons?

It seems to be working now. I reopened the plugin manager and just hit the Refresh button, and that seemed to have done the trick. After installing Maya ext 2, the app asked if I want to transfer my prefs from previous version and I did so. I am wondering if that screwed something up and by refreshing the plugin manager I somehow re-linked the plugin components.
