Hey.
Bit of a newbie question, but is there a way to use the Mxed and have Fire automatically update.

I'm trying to create shaders inside of Maya, using Mxed rather than the Maya interface.

I can create / save / update from file with a referenced shader ok, but I have to keep doing that to refresh Fire.

Maya is not aware of the changes you make inside MXED until you close MXED, so it cannot refresh FIRE. We want to improve the communication between the programs in the future to make this smoother, but it requires some important changes in both MXED and the plug-in, so it's not going to be available very soon.
