For some reason, all of a sudden, my scene will not export with any name in front of the frame padding. Even though I type in blah.101.mxs in the save window, each frame ignores the "blah" and just writes out .$frame.mxs

I've tried both linux and windows and I get the same error on both.
plug-in version 3.0.15 on both.

any thoughts?

found the issue...

don't let render tokens make their way into your render globals.
