Hi all,

is there a way to set all objects in a scene to a white object ID in one click, or a script.

At the mo, we have to individually select objects, tick the Specify color box and then set the slider to white.

cheers,

Steve

You can use the attribute spreadsheet (window -> general editors -> attribute spread sheet). Select the objects you want and look for the attributes starting with "Mx Obj Id Color New". There should be 3 of them, one float for each RGB channel of the color. You can shift-select all 3 columns, then press 1 and enter to set all values to 1.0, which is white.

EDIT: you need Maya 2012 or newer for this to work.
