Maxwell cannot render PaintFX directly. You would have to convert them to polygons first, but that's a one-way process so you lose editing capabilities. Also, transferring animation from the PaintFX objects to the polygon version can be tricky.

Thanx Mihnea for info.
It seems that tut is already polygon based as those scenes are rendered in mray.
