One other thing I've noticed...
If your in the attribute editor and on the maxwell shader and hit copy tab the new tab breaks. Also if your in the attribute editor and say your on the shape or transform tab for an object and hit copy tab it opens correctly. If you then click on the maxwell shader tab while the copy tab is still open Maya crashes.
