It would be great that the fire understand the Isolate selected in Maya viewport.
(ViewportMenu / Show / Isolate select / View Selected)

Have you plan to implement this feature ?

Yes, but it's not trivial to do and it's not scheduled yet so I can't give you an estimate for when it will be available.

I use renderlayer to isolate my obj.
