Resolution is limited to 764 x 627

No matter how big I set the resolution in Maya, 1024 x 840, or 2048 x 1680 (I know, unusual aspect ratio, but that's what I need) I get a Maxwell render of 764 x 627 if I save it from Maxwell and I get the full Maya resolution as requested with a blank image and the Maxwell 764 x 627 image is pasted into the lower left hand corner if I close Maxwell and let the Maya image buffer present the image.

Legal software. Seems to be licensed properly. No watermark, just a small render.

I'll be embarrassed if it's something simple but I can't solve it right now.

If I export to Studio and see 2048 size in the camera parameters in studio I still get the same small 764 pixel wide render.

Check two things:
- go to the Render menu, under Test Resolution, and make sure "Render Settings" is checked (not "Camera panel" or anything else).
- select the render camera, expand the Maxwell Render rollup and make sure Region Mode is set to "Full".

Both were already as you suggest. problem persists.

I tried a 4096 x 4096 render and got a 692 x 692 render in Maxwell.

When I closed the maxwell render I got that small image pasted in the lower left of a 4096 x 4096 image in Maya.

If I try small renders I get the true resolution.

If I try different cameras I have the same resolution limitation.

There is never any watermark at any size.

When I launch studio it says

"Unregistered Version. This product is not licensed"

------------------------------------------------------------------

When I launch Render and check license info it says:

Total licenses 0
Total nodes 2
(followed by my name, type standard, issue date, unlimited)

------------------------------------------------------------------

Exported mxs rendered in Maxwell.

This is a pretty big problem. It happens on a fresh scene as well, and it started with the latest upgrade

hmm, no idea, sorry!

seems to be a licensing issue...
try to paste your license again - because only 2 nodes showing up!

Ok. Problem solved.

I had half of my license in user/documents and the other half in program files/next limit.

Found the missing half and added it within Maxwell.exe licensing and now it's fine.
