First off BIG THANKS for the quick release on maya plugin updates and fixes.. lovin that 2.5.6 matches the reolution gate and lets ya save out a image file direct of the fire window!!!! also cool to have region render now in camera's maxwell atrributes editor rolldown.. (although its a precentage based not pixel baxed but its cool to have indeed)

only 1 Big problem i have come across so far in teting the new 2.5.6 maya plugin:
I seem to have a BIG difference now between my FIRE exposure and the Final Rendered Exposure.. looks like FIRE window is rendering WAY under exposed..
here is a screen cap of my camera settings.. and the FIRE window and the Production render:

(almost looks like reverse of what the 3dsmax users had issue with their gamma settings.. but i dont know where there would be gamma adjustment in maya/ FIRE window?)

Ouch, that's a nasty one. Same happens to me. Here is an example with a simple IBL-only lit scene (background image, the only thing that looks identical in both FIRE images) :

I think something has happened with the RS0 engine just before we packaged the plug-ins (we updated the SDK to fix an unrelated bug and didn't re-test FIRE after that). We will figure out what's wrong and correct it as soon as possible.

The new plug-in released today (2.5.7) seems to solve the issue : I didn't do any scientific comparison (like a photoshop substraction to spot any difference between 2.5.3 and 2.5.7), but the preview now seems to have a correct brightness, and glass doesn't look dark anymore.
