Trouble Rendering Transparent, Glasslike Objects

I can't figure out why clear-type materials (glass, plastic, etc.) aren't rendering properly on thin geometry in my scenes; such as car windshields. The materials work great on thicker objects when I place them in a scene, however very thin ones show up as almost black. I've check the transparency settings and significantly increased the attenuation distance however am seeing no difference. What am I doing wrong?

are those windshields have any volume ? or it is just single surface ?

every clear-type materials have to have "volume" one face IN and one face OUT, ther light knows when not to consider attenutation to equation.

If You have all of this, maybe it is scale problem.
or second
If you export .mxs from 3dmax it is sometimes problem with units of attentutation so chech this parameter in maxwell studio. (I have always manualy chahnge 1m (max) - 1 (nm maxwell) to 1m in maxwell again

I think we determined the issue is a bug with the character rig and either Maya or Maxwell or both. I'm not having this problem after removing the rig and using geo only.
