Ok, I just upgraded to V2, and installed the plugin for Maya 2008. With version 1.7, when I opened up a Maxwell Material in Maya, there was a Browse Library button that linked to my hundreds of materials. Well now it has dissapeared. How on earth do I get to my materials library from within Maya?

It's in the new layered material node (select "global parameters" in the material tree). The old node is kept only for compatibility with 1.7 scenes, all newly created materials should use the new node.

and from my short test with ver.2, it sucks. everytime you apply a material, you have to scroll up at the attributes editor, select "global.." and then select "wizard" or "library" ... what a nag, no one I think is going to apply a material then start punching in numbers ad the BSDF ...
