MX-MaterialTree doesn`t refresh in viewport

hello,

doesn`t matter what maya-version (2008-2010) i am using with the new plugin:

-the mx-material editor shown in the attribute editor on the right, does not show the layers (bsdf, layer, emitter, etc)
just the little icons are visible and working correctly, but no visual feedback above!
only after hitting several times the spacebar, you might be able to see and use these layers...if you are lucky!

-also after activating maxwell in the panels menu in the viewport for better shading quality,
all other views are refreshing no more! so you can pick objects, but you can`t see that it`s picked...also rotate, scale, etc.
only after hitting spacebar the view is refreshed...

anybody having the same problems?
is there any trick? what did i do wrong?

MacPro (octa) running XP64
nvidia GeForce 8800 GT
Maya 2010 64bit
Maxwell 2.0

thx
munch

I've seen that material tree problem once in testing in 64-bit Maya, but couldn't reproduce it since. Doesn't it go away if you restart Maya?

I will investigate the refresh problem, I haven't seen that before.

We found a problem specific to Maya 2010, it will be fixed in the update. In the mean time, you can set the attribute editor to open in a separate window, and the material tree will display properly.
