Is the maya batch render submission process the same for Maxwell animation as for other animation through Maya?
I submitted a Maya batch job around 8 pm last night, SL = 1.
I ran 13 frames. It seemed to work fine.
At 2 AM I resubmitted the job, 72 frames, SL = 9, to see what would happen.
At 6PM today I checked on the job. It had only rendered 4 frames, and those frames were all dated around the 8PM hour, but when I looked at them they had SL=9 quality, not SL=1, so I know they were new frames - but with old dates.
Huge disappointment.
Does Maxwell/Maya plugin get confused if you don't delete old frames?
Is batch render the best way to submit a Maxwell animation through Maya?
