"Communications error with license server"

I have installed maxwell (latest betas) on a fresh Win 7 installation. Everything is licensed properly and working (Studio, Network, Sketchup plugin) but when i try to render from the Max plugin (2016) i get a license error with the option to start the "license activator".

That's weird, the licensing code is common between all the plug-ins and Studio, so if one works all the others should as well. Are you using a node-locked license or a network license? Is Windows firewall (or some other firewall or antivirus product) blocking Max?

Network license with license server on the same machine.
I had already disabled the firewall without any difference, but i will try this again - maybe something is still running in the background.

Ok, sorry... it was the firewall
I don't know why, but it was still blocking the communication with the localhost even if i disabled/closed it.
It's working now. Thanks.
