Hi,
i was wondering, when embedding a referenced material, what actually happens ? What is being embedded ? And how is it embedded, can i edit the embedded material info ?

Lets say i'd delete the original material from the HD, would it then be read from within the scene ? With all textures ?

Only the material settings will be embedded in the scene, no textures. You can edit the embedded materials in Studio.
If you uncheck it, all materials will be exported as separated mxm file and referenced in the mxs.
