Hide grass base object in 3dsmax?

Hi,

Does anybody know if grass base object can be hidden in 3dsmax?

If I hide it to camera grass is hidden too.

I had same problem in rhino but it seems it can't be hidden so I used ground texture or move it little near ground surface...
