image file name using maxwellExportMXS

I've noticed since upgrading to the latest Max plugin that the file names stored in exported MXS files isn't being set to what I have in the render settings dialog.
This only happens when using the maxwellExportMXS function - when using the "Send Job to Network" button it works fine.
For example:
render output (in Render Setup Dialog) is set to test_image.tif
scripted command "maxwellExportMXS output:"test2.mxs" camera:$cam001"
load the test2.mxs file and the image output will be set to test2.mxs.tga instead of test_image.tif
Anyone else experiencing this? Am I missing a parameter for the export function to specify the image name?
