Blurred materials

Has anyone else experienced blurred materials in Fire, in Max Design 2012?
I use DirectX, not Nitrous and I think there is a general problem with MAX 2012 and the plugin.
I find no difference between 2011 and newly created mats... everything shows the same. So I open a new thread.

The next three images is a quick test. Max, Fire and Maxwell

Thanks... I usually don't use MAX when I'm drunk. :roll:
