I want to scatter grass blades on an object using PFlow and control the density with a greyscale map... but how?!?

Where can i select the map?
I tried to assign a standart material and maxwell material to the position object but this didn't work. :?

and another problem...
i have a group with gras blades with 4 different materials, but when i render with instancing turned on all blades render with the same material!?!

haven't done it in a while, but I think you need to apply a Standard material to the object, and add the map to the diffuse slot. You can put it in a multi-sub material and put it in a slot that is not used on the object and it won't affect the render.

That is (I think) the way I did it last.

yes it works, thanks! :D
i tried it again with a higher contrasted map and it worked - the contrast of the first map was too low so i didn't see the effect.
