Does the download for the latest 3ds Max plugin via the Customer Gateway, comprise of a version that will work on Max 2011 but with the old 1.7.1 version of Maxwell?

Just checking before I install what I have downloaded and break things.

So is there a version of the plugin that I can download that has all the latest features that the v1.7 had that is also compatible with Max 2011?

The download system is now a little annoying because it forces you to download the wrong version for your needs... I'm not sure I have a 1.7 compatible install for the old Max plugin (that I use fine in 2010), that I can try in 2011 to see if it works...

I guess you can send an email to the support and ask for a download link, but it won't work with Max 2011 since it needs to be recompiled with 2011 SDK (it doesn't work by simply copying the .dll and scripts files). Maybe we'll release an updated version for 1.7 that will support Max 2011, but I can't tell you when.

I have the same issue here. Did you get hold of the plugin in the correct version?
