Greatings maxwell users,

Since the introduccion of maxwell proxy object i´ve been trying to get it to work with no succes at all. Seems proxys dont work with objects imported via file link manager and they keep disapearing. The other day i decided to reproduce Peter Guthier´s grass tutorial http://www.peterguthrie.net/blog/2009/0 ... al-part-2/, using proxy objects. I prepared my geometry and convert it into a proxy, then i scattered ove a simple plane, and this is what hapened:

Notice how proxys work fine on the outside, but the ones over the plane just disappear but still project shadows, i´ve tried checking "protect geometry" "use 3ds max instancing" and "disabel motion blur" but same thing happens. Anyone experiencing same issues?

Objects imported via file link manager work with proxy objects (at least on the dwg files we've tried). Can you send me a sample scene and the dwg file to see what's going on? bogdan.coroi@gmail.com

My bad...

Seems that none of the objects next to proxys can have motion blur enabled. Finally i figured it out and finished the tutorial, here is the final image.
