What's the best way to scatter vegetation around. I'm doing a densely forested area that's going to have a lot of hills covered with trees, plants, grass, etc. I know for Vray there's Vray Scatter. But what's the best thing for Maxwell users?

groundwiz lite and forest lite is another choice.
there are so many options to scatter objects.
but they cannot support maxwell instance as I know.

1. Forestpack lite using planes and the well known grass mxm from mxm gallery <--- the best, check the site...
2. Particles (if you know how)
3. Crowd, check instances
4. Scatter but it is not very good

I'm taking a crack at Particle flow w/ 3ds Max. It looks like it should be pretty much what I need. It's not the most intuitive device but I'm not really using it for it's intended purpose so I guess that's ok. I'm testing it out on a work project right now so I'll try and report back later. I didn't really see a tutorial on using PF Source for vegetation. If anyone's interested I could write one when I'm done.
