don't know if this has surfaced in any thread yet:

1. dragging material with single sided SSS into multi material slot causes crash. on re-open of recover scene, dragged material shows in multimaterial slot. (happens on every drap-copy with sssss material)

edit: happens only when dragging. right click "copy"-> right click "paste" into multimaterial slot is ok.

2. opening of imported material through mxed tab wipes out attenuation settings to 1 cm. (have only experienced with SSSSS material so far)

1. I can't reproduce it here. What 3dsmax are you using? Could you crash it again and send me the file 3dsmax_minidump.dmp generated in your %temp% directory?
2. We're investigating it.

LE. For point 2, we'll add a unit combo as MXED has.

Point 1 is fixed for the next patch.
