Hi.
I'd like to create an animation sequence with MaxwellParticles, but I can't find a way to access the "FileName" parameter to fill it with RealFlow BIN file paths. Maybe I've overseen something. Here's what I want to do:
Thanks for the help.
EDIT (2013-03-06):
I've been able to fix it myself. I worked with various SDKs in the past, but I've never seen something like the Maxwell Python SDK. I'm not really surprised that even the Maxwell devs sometimes refuse to answers Python-related questions.

Code: Select all
So far I've been able to get everything to work except writing the file names to the "FileName" parameter. In RF there are "getParameter" and "setParameter()" commands that grant access to actually any parameter, so I wonder if there's something comparable in MR's Python SDK?- Identify GeometryProcedural object
- Get BIN file names and loop through them
- Write BIN file names into "FileName" parameter of MaxwellParticles > Sequence
- Save new MXS file
Thanks for the help.
