Hello everyone!
Maxwell Render 1.7 is here!
We are very pleased to announce the client release of this new version which brings several new and improved features, including a new Physical Sky system, a new Sub-Surface Scattering component, and improvements in the Material Editor, the plug-ins and Maxwell Studio.
We have created a complete overview of what’s new in version 1.7, and an extensive guide to how to use the new and improved features. This overview is included in the installation package and available from the following link (
please make sure you copy the complete link

Please note that the Maxwell Render demo version will be disabled between today’s client launch (June 19) and the upcoming public launch to give our clients advanced use of this new version. Demo users will be able to test-drive Maxwell Render 1.7 once we have re-enabled the 1.7 demo.
All our clients should have received (or will receive any moment) an email notifying them of the release and providing them with a new link to the download page. An updated manual incorporating all the changes related to this new version will also be available soon. Please remember that the client download link is strictly confidential and should not be shared on this forum or on any other public sites.
If you have any queries, feel free to contact our support teams through the following web forms:
