Today is the day! We are very pleased to announce the client release of Maxwell Render 1.6. Extensively tested, we are confident that this update will be well-received by Maxwell Render users around the world.
Version 1.6 brings new features and improvements, including the much-anticipated Maxwell Displacement, instances, multithreading voxelization, enhanced plug-ins, network improvements, and much more.
Please note that the Maxwell Render demo version will be disabled between today’s client launch (Nov 22) and the upcoming public launch to give our clients advanced use of this new version. Demo users will be able to test-drive Maxwell Render 1.6 once we have re-enabled the 1.6 demo.
All our clients should have received (or will receive any moment) an email notifying them of the release and providing them with a link to the download page. A “Maxwell Render 1.6 list of highlights”, a complete features list, an updated manual and other materials are available from the same site. Please remember that the client download link is strictly confidential and should not be shared on this forum or on any other public sites.
