I'm sure I'll be around here still... like you, I bought maxwell in 2005, long before I became involved in development... and maxwell is all I know, since I didn't know anything about rendering before finding it. It was literally the gallery images by you guys who were a little earlier than me, that...
I have been talking to Alonso quite a bit during the transition, and can tell you that he is a good and very competent guy. The old plugin was really old, and had been stretched to its limits... mostly having been designed before the idea of something like FIRE had even occurred to anybody. So all o...

Thanks Philip, I'll see you plenty over at the Rhino forums, I'm sure.
Thanks for the kind words, guys, and especially for the help and ideas you have been so generous to give me over the years.
You cannot hide the source object (whether disabling it in Cinema, or enabling "Hide" on an Object Properties tag), but you can enable Hide from Camera/GI/etc (in an Object Properties tag), so I would try those and see if it is enough.
Thanks for the kind words Eric, and thank you also for the invaluable help you have provided, in always going to the trouble to share your fantastic models with me whenever I had need of them; the fact is that there are parts of this plugin which would likely never have worked properly, apart from y...
