thnx rusteberg,

..indeed , it is the renewed edition of the early 70's Togo collection.
I made the "mistake" and told my client that i can model some furniture
if he has special wishes... so the model in the rendering is selfmade, and i have to admit it was quite challanging to get the looks right..

however challenging it was, it turned out nice!

i bet the mistake came from the client's question "can you model furniture"

i used to work internally for a modern architecture firm..... one day the principal asked me, "can you model organic forms"?...... I asked "can you design organic forms"?..... :lol: :lol:

I love the first image under displacement tryouts. Really cool effect! I also like the 'chip board' (not sure if it's known as that in other areas of the world) material on the last bunch.

Cool stuff.

.. :lol: :lol: .. sounds like you either got fired or took over the company..

@Bubbaloo

Thnx for your comment! I was working with standard physical sky+sun, until i got some nice panorama shots of the site. Made a LDR out of one and used it for all hdr channels in conjunction with Sunlight(no post work in the images). It really helped to get a more realistic impression, imo.

@iker

those are kind words! ..glad you like it!

@lsega77

Thanks for your feedback! with "chip board", if i translated it right (Spanplatte in German) , you mean those compressed wood panels right?.. that's funny as these images are from my early maxwell days just getting into the concept of texturing in Rhino (I rendered all images directly from Rhino).. so the wall material only has some bump map on it - a bit too large and certainly a too strong bump value.. looking at it now it reminds me of grey cardboard but it could well be "chip board", too! :)
