Hi! Well this isn't much of a gallery for now, but I don't want to keep creating a new thread for each new image. Here's what I have so far:
Two christmas decorations I have, 5 hours rendering and reached SL 17.5. Moderate noise reduction.
This image started out as a test to see if you could diffuse light out through an object with SSS (you can!) and I think it turned into a pretty cool picture. The white 'baby' flower is a bit too bright though. Some stats are:
282k triangles.
30 emitters (one inside every petal and flower centre).
All diffuse shaders with SSS except no SSS on the ground.
The hanging vines and the ground were made with Paint Effects and then converted to polygons.
[9h 19m 34s] of [13h 0m 0s] , current sampling level : 14.31
Moderate noise reduction.
By the way my computer sucks, it's only a single 1.53 Ghz.
