Fire - still full refresh each and every time?

Hi there

I remember something like "full reload of scene in fire not needed anymore" with the promotion of v3. Now I saw some demo videos on the maxwell site leaving me puzzled. In Maya it indeed seems like the changes of the light parameters and position get instantly reflected in fire. But with cinema4d I get the impression that the creator of the demo video just skipped the frames that showed the klick of the "reload" button in fire.

So what can I expect here?

Cheers

You can expect it to work this way for the time being; I've experimented with trying to detect changes to objects in Cinema, and to then look up and update their associated meshes in real time in the Maxwell scene, but as of yet, have found no robust way of doing this successfully.

Thats a pity. With the Octane plugin for c4d refresh works like a charm...
